Project Management Specialist
Job Description:
Responsible for ensuring the customer needs are satisfied by providing specific deliverables. Ensures good practices in standard methodologies and processes are used to deliver an integrated solution. The major emphasis is on coordination of tasks. The job may include responsibility for technical development. This position serves as a single point of contact and acts in a liaison capacity to facilitate problem resolution
• Responsible for managing large/complex projects
• Accountable for the successful delivery of projects on-time and on-budget
• Develop project execution plans, budgets and baseline schedules
• Identify risks and creates strategies to mitigate them
• Communicate effectively with IT leadership to convey project status, risks and issues
• Minimize rework by ensuring early stakeholder involvement
• Support and adhere to project process
Minimum Qualifications:
• More than 5 years of project management experience
• Minimum of 5 years of requirements engineering
• Strong knowledge of natural gas industry required
• Knowledge of PODS (pipeline open database standard) and GIS(Geographic Information Systems)
• Knowledge of Pipeline Integrity (corrosion, control, inline inspections, direct assessment)
• Experience with 80QA/QC and data analysis
• BS Computer Science, PMP preferred
