Structural Engineer
Job Description:
The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of design, analysis and drawing development of large structures and machinery equipment from concept through production. Responsibilities also may include leading other engineers and designers in their design tasks. The successful applicant will work closely with the lead design engineer in any of these tasks. Travel may occasionally be required to client’s manufacturing facility or to customers’ sites in USA or abroad.
Minimum Qualifications:
A BS in mechanical engineering or civil engineering is required with 7-10 years of relevant experience (MS preferred).
United States Citizenship is a requirement for this position.
Skills Needed:
A thorough knowledge of solid modeling and comprehensive experience in FEA is necessary. Specific knowledge of Abaqus and SolidWorks would be an advantage. Familiarity with ASD and AWS is also desirable.
