Job Description:
 
Day to Day Responsibilities Include:

Minimum Qualifications:
 
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following qualifications:
  • Full life-cycle contracts administration and comprehensive program controls functions for assigned contracts
  • Daily interaction and coordination with external customers and subcontractors, internal SOTECH management, and other SOTECH administrative functional departments.
  • Performs program controls functions of assigned contracts to include establishing program budgets and schedules, tracking costs, preparing of management and customer cost reports.
  • Establishes charge code structures- ensuring the accuracy of both the timecard and accounting systems. Prepares spreadsheets, spend plans, fee analyses, and profitability projections.
  • Aids in the preparation of contractual provisions and the administration of contract proposals.
  • Responsible for preparing bids and negotiating specifications and contractual provisions.
Skills Needed:
  • Requires a bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field, including FAR and DFAR.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word; Familiarity with Deltek GCS Premier contracts database
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Works under general supervision; typically reports to a manager.
  • Team building; Analytical and problem solving skills; Decision making skills; Effective verbal and listening communications skills; Computer skills including the ability to use spreadsheet and word-processing programs; Stress management skills; Time management skills.
