Image Quality Specialist
Job Description:
The Image Quality Specialist provides support to the Engineering Quality Assurance & Control effort by assisting in the installation, configuration, and image quality maintenance of Red Light Enforcement and Photo Radar systems throughout the US and Canada. This includes conducting periodic reviews of sites in production and making recommendations for configuration changes to improve the quality of the photographic images captured by these systems. The Image Quality Specialist also participates in testing and analysis of systems; conducts engineering site surveys, and; ensures that optimal image quality exists at all photo enforcement sites within their area of responsibility.
The work of the Image Quality Specialist varies within the organization but is likely to include most or all of the following activities:
- Conducts periodic image quality reviews of assigned sites
- Travels to sites and makes configuration adjustments to optimize image quality
- Provides support to local Field Service Technicians in identifying and resolving image quality issues
- Installs, troubleshoots problems, and configures photo enforcement equipment in the field.
- Prepares reports and other documentation
- Provides training support to clients, maintenance personnel, and other Image Quality Specialists as required.
- Interfaces with program and project managers in helping to resolve photo enforcement image quality issues
- Conducts tests of both hardware and software components
- All other duties as assigned.
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in education and experience. This position requires over night travel, sometimes for extended periods of 2 weeks or more.
