Senior Oracle Developer
Job Description:
Responsible for design and development for data warehousing and Oracle BI solutions. This Senior Oracle BI Application Developer will be responsible for the design, configuration, and development for a packaged OBIEE Financial Analytic Application implementation at a client site. The Senior Oracle BI Application Developer will be responsible for the installation, configuration and administration of Oracle's BI Analytic Application, including responsibility for the RPD, DAC, and Informatica This person must be able to develop excellent client relationships and be hands on as well as manage another part-time ETL resource. The project will begin with an initial phase to implement the ""vanilla" application with minimal changes to make it work in the client's environment.
Responsibilities will include the following:
- Lead efforts to perform gap analysis
- Design solutions to meet requirements and fully document the design
- Provide technical guidance to client regarding OBIEE and Informatica and Oracle BI Analytic Applications
- Design/Develop ETL and OBIEE solutions - implementing Oracle BI Financial Analytic Application from Oracle E-Business Suite
- Mentor and train client personnel on the usage of the Oracle BI tools and Informatica and help client sell OBIEE solution across organization
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate should have excellent communication skills and be able to work well with teams and with management.
Must Have Skills:
- Excellent communications
- Oracle BI Analytic Applications experience - at least 2 full lifecycle implementations
- Extensive OBIEE experience, including managing the rpd
- Informatica knowledge/experience
- DAC knowledge/experience
Desired Skills:
- Financial BI experience (preferably with Oracle E-Business Suite)
- Technical leadership
