EVMS Analyst
Job Description:
The EVMS Analyst will serve as the focal point for the Program Director, Cost Account Managers (CAMs), and the US Government Technical and Contracts teams for all cost and schedule policies and procedures and reporting.
Responsibilities include:
·Participates in the preparation and planning for the Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) to include all related documentation
·Maintains the budget, monitors expenditures, issues budget/work authorizations, analyzes program cost/schedule performance, and assesses related impact on the program's EAC/profit outlook.
·Ensures EVMS requirements for project reporting and related controls are met
·Provides financial status and ad-hoc reports to line organizations and upper management as needed.
·Develops and maintains budget and forecasts
·Responsible for EAC analysis and updates, including monthly CAM reviews.
·Responsible for monthly IPR preparation, analysis and presentation preparation
·Prepares Government financial reports to include Cost/Schedule status reports (CSSR) and Cost Performance Reports (CPR's)
·Works with Cost Account Managers (CAMs) to update resource planning and manpower forecasts
·Performs EVMS analysis and trending
·Maintains budget baseline and updates
·Interfaces with Accounts Receivable, Contracts, Accounts Payable and Program Control
·Interacts with senior Cost Account Managers (CAMs) to assist and provide guidance for corrective actions when variances occur.
Minimum Qualifications:
·Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance
·2 years of experience required in government contract control and administration, including working-level application of EVMS principles and practices.
Skills Needed:
·Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of Cost, Schedule, and Financial reporting.
·Must have ability to understand and have experience using many different financial applications and Program Management Tools
·Strong MS Excel skills a must.
·Direct experience with Deltek Costpoint, Cobra, Microsoft Project and wInsight preferred.
·Experience in contract pricing required
·Experience with DoD or Government Agency program management support functions desired
·Knowledge of ANSI EIA Standard 748
·Working knowledge of Microsoft Project
·Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, Word
·Outstanding interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills
·Ability to work well in a “team” environment
·Strong organizational skill, excellent written and oral communications skills and proven track record as a self starter
