Release Manager
Job Description:
The Release Manager position is responsible for the quality and control of any change to the customer’s production environment, using effective planning and management of hardware and software releases.
· To interpret and manage the expectations of the customer
· To design and implement efficient procedures for the distribution and installation of changes to IT systems
· To ensure that all hardware being rolled out or changed is secure and traceable, using configuration management
· Make sure there is a production plan in place and be able to relay the information to customer.
· Communicate release policy is in place
· Release design, build and configuration
· Training as may be required by the particular release
Minimum Qualifications:
· Candidates must have 3-5 years of hands-on ITIL experience, including at least 5 years hands-on technical project experience.
Skills Needed:
· Demonstrated ability to interact with internal and external customers with evidence of an ability to teach, persuade and train others about ITIL best practice guidelines
· Must be able to multi-task.
