Project Manager
Job Description:
An established and industry-leading group developing advanced transit fleet management systems for public transit, is looking for outstanding Project Managers to join their team.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Several years of practical business experience in project management is the ideal qualification for this position.
- Four year degree or equivalent experience is required.
- Experience in the public transit industry is a plus.
- Candidates should be capable of highly independent work, as well as managing others, and share our vision to advance public transit systems into the future.
- Travel, up to 50%, will be required.
- All project management activity is coordinated through our North American headquarters in Chesapeake, Virginia. However, upcoming projects require relocation to various project sites throughout North America.
- Knowledge of GANTT Charts, budgeting, and workflow planning
Skills Needed:
- Experience in the management of complex, long term projects involving the installation of computer systems, software, and equipment
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to organize resources over multiple functional areas within the company
- Customer relationship management skills
