Embedded Software Engineer
Job Description:
The successful candidate will demonstrate the capability to participate in both product feature definition and development. The position also requires development of procedures and documentation in accordance with company standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
Between 2-5 years of experience in embedded software and product development.
Skills Needed:
Experience with wireless communications protocols
Proficient in programming with C and C++
Familiarity with Linux as a software development environment
Proven real-time embedded OS experience
Experience with micro-controllers and microprocessors
Ability to read data sheets and schematics
Hands-on experience in embedded system firmware development, verification, and test
Knowledge of configuration management tools and software development methodologies
Working knowledge of logic analyzers and other hardware/firmware diagnostic tools
Flexibility to work in a team for large projects or as an individual for smaller projects
Understanding of project scheduling and estimation
Good communication skills both written and interpersonal
Must be authorized to work in USA
